Oldham Place, Liverpool

On behalf of Kenworth Liverpool Investment Ltd,  Hybrid secured planning permission for an 8-storey purpose built student accommodation scheme, comprised of 213 beds in April 2018.

Despite a number of historic planning permissions being approved, the site has been vacant since 2005, largely due to a change in student housing demands in Liverpool, which made previous designs and layouts unfavourable for the modern student market.

The proposal is set to regenerate the derelict site which is strategically important to the wider redevelopment of the Oldham Street Area, contribute to the development of Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter and increase the residential population of the city centre.
